IGNOU BED Entrance Examination Preparation and Suggested Books

 This post is to suggest the aspirants preparing for IGNOU BED Entrance Examination. Lets first discuss the pattern of IGNOU BED Entrance Examination.
  1. Total Number of Questions in IGNOU BED Entrance Examination :100
  2. Total Parts in the IGNOU BED Entrance Examination Paper: Two-Parts

 Part A pertains to non Main Subject  and Part B pertains Main Subject
IGNOU BED Entrance Examination Part A(80 Marks)

General English Comprehension            -10 Marks
Logical & Analytical Reasoning              -20 Marks
Educational & General Awareness         -25 Marks
Teaching-Learning & the School             -25 Marks

IGNOU BED Entrance Examination Part B(20 Marks)

Any of the Main Subject i.e. Science or Mathematics or Social Studies or English or Hindi -20 Marks (The questions of this section are based on 9th and 10th Standard.)

Is there any Negative Marking in IGNOU BED Entrance Examination: There may be negative marking for wrong answers.

Duration of IGNOU BED Entrance Examination: 2 Hours.

Strategy to  prepare for IGNOU BED Entrance Examination: Most of the people who pursue for IGNOU BED Entrance Examination are those people who are already teachers in schools and want to have a higher degree without effecting their current teaching job.These people generally does not have much time to prepare for the IGNOU BED Entrance Examination so here is suggestion for them:
  1. Start with your main subject i.e. Science/Mathematics/Social Studies/English/Hindi which either you have not touched since a long time or have already forgot the concept. Quickly finish this part with the help of suggested books for IGNOU BED Entrance Examination so that you have enough time to revise this part again.
  2. Now move over to Next part and complete "Teaching-Learning & the School","Educational & General Awareness","General English Comprehension" and "Logical & Analytical Reasoning" successively.
  3. Again Revise the Point 1 and 2 Successively.
  4. Solve the  5 Years question paper asked in IGNOU BED Entrance Examination previously.
  5. Revise the point 1 and 2 as many times you can and solve the question papers 2-3 times.
